"I've never written a love song, but I will for you," declares Avi Buffalo in the song "Remember Last Time," before launching into a searing guitar solo that expresses this love more powerfully than the words ever could. The guitar is truly elevated in this band, as it should in the hands of a teenage wunderkind.

Avi Buffalo Music is the project of the very same Avi Buffalo.   The group is comprised entirely of high school students, but their songs are polished gems that go way beyond the simple chords and throwaway delivery that is normally associated with young bands.   Avi's work on the guitar is beyond expressive, creating atmospheres that lend his songs a magical quality.  And while many people consider extended guitar solos to be overindulgent filler, this band simply treats the guitar as a defining voice, as important in some ways as the lyrics in setting the mood and driving the story.

Be sure to check out "Where's Your Dirty Mind", a song that will insinuate itself in your brain, and "Jessica", which sounds like a more modern take on Elvis Costello's "Allison".
